Residents may access traffic accident reports one of two ways:
Online - Visit the Village's Online Accident Report System to access traffic accident reports via the internet. There is a fee for obtaining accident reports online. *Note: Online reports are only available for accidents occurring after March 1, 2010.
Online Accident Report System
Residents may now access traffic accident reports online via the Online Accident Report System.
With the Online Accident Report System, reports are now available 24 hours a day via the internet, saving residents time driving to and from the police department to acquire reports.
The Online Accident Report System includes:
- Clear, high-resolution images of each report for optimal viewing
- PDF formats, making reports easy to print, save, and email
- Access to reports usually within 96 hours of occurrence, excluding holidays and weekends
