Lawn Sprinkling & Landscape Irrigation
As required by the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Water Resources, Lake Michigan Management Section, all lawn sprinkling and landscape irrigation is prohibited between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. from May 15 to September 15.
Landscaping includes sodded and seeded lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and other living plants. Newly sodded or seeded areas may be watered at any time for a two week period following installation.
